Speed Calling


Setup:

With Speed Calling you can call emergency or frequently dialed-numbers just by dialing one or two digits. You have a choice of selecting either a short list of eight (8) or a longer list of 30.

Remember eight of your most frequently called or emergency numbers.

To Program Speed Call Numbers into Memory:
Assign a one-digit code from 2 through 9 to each of the phone numbers. List the names and numbers in a convenient location.
Lift receiver.
Press *74.
Wait 4 seconds. Dial the one digit code you want to assign, and the complete telephone number (including area code) you want the code to represent.
Listen for 2 short tones to confirm that your number as been assigned. Hang up or wait for dial tone. Repeat steps 3 through 5 to add each number to your Speed Call list, or to change an existing number.

Dialing a Speed Call Number:
Enter the assigned code (2 through 9) for the party you want to call.
Press #. Your call will go through after a short pause.
Highlights:
When placing a long distance number into memory, enter a "1" and the 10 digit number.

Speed Calling 30
Remembers thirty of your most frequently called or emergency numbers.

To Program Speed Call Numbers into Memory:
Dial one of 30 two-digit speed numbers. List the names and numbers in a convenient location.
Lift receiver. Press *75.
Wait 4 seconds. Dial the two-digit code you want to assign, and the complete telephone number (including area code) you want the code to represent.
Listen for 2 short tones to confirm that your number has been assigned. Hang up or wait for dial tone.
Repeat steps 3 through 5 to add each number to your Speed Call list, or to change an existing number.

Enter the assigned code (20 through 49) for the party you want to call.
Press #. Your call will go through after a short pause.
