If you do not want your phone number to appear to the person you are calling you may use the Call Display Blocking features described below:
Per Call Blocking…This service is automatically provided free of charge on your telephone line if you are a BRUCE TELECOM telephone service subscriber. To prevent your telephone number from appearing to the person you are calling, simply dial ×67, before dialing each call.
All Calls Blocking…This option will permanently block your name and number on your line. It is available only to shelters for victims of domestic violence, public law enforcement agencies, social service agencies, crisis lines and victims and potential victims of violence. It is also available in those areas where it is not yet technically possible to offer per call blocking.
You must subscribe to this service which prevents your telephone number from appearing to the person you are calling, unless you unblock the service on a per call basis by dialing ×67 before making a call (rotary dial customers dial 1167). If you subscribe to Call Display - All Calls Blocking use this code before you call, and your number will appear to the person you are calling.
