Click on Start > Settings > Network and Dial-up Connections. |

Double click on "Make New Connection". |

This will start the Welcome Wizard. Click "Next". |

Select "Dial-up to the Internet" and click "Next" again. |

Select "I want to set up my Internet connection manually, or I want to connect through a local area network (LAN)" and "Next". |

Select "I connect through a phone line and modem" and then "Next". |

Type in the 10 digit local telephone number to access our service and Uncheck "Use area code and dialing rules" select "Next". |

Type in your User name and Password then select "Next". |

The wizard will ask you for a Connection name. "Bruce Telecom" will work (remember this is just a name) and select "Next". |

Click "No" when asked if you wish to create an Internet mail account and select "Next". |

Select "Finish" to save your settings. |

12. |
Right click on your connection and select "Create Shortcut" and select "Yes" to place it on your Desktop. |
