Custom Calling Features
With Call Waiting you are always accessible, even when you are on the phone. A Call Waiting tone tells you that a second person is calling.

Three-way calling service allows you to arrange events or chat with friends and family by talking with two different people in different locations at the same time - no matter who placed the call.

With Speed Calling you can call emergency or frequently dialed-numbers just by dialing one or two digits. You have a choice of selecting either a short list of eight (8) or a longer list of 30.

Call Forwarding lets you answer your phone calls when you are away from home or the office. You can transfer incoming calls to another local or long distance number.

Call Management Services
Call Number Display lets you know who is calling by displaying their telephone number on a special phone you may rent or buy from us. Call Number Display helps you to identify annoying or harassing calls and gives you peace of mind. Additionally, your phone number will appear to the person you are calling if they subscribe to Call Display and have a display phone.

Call Name Display lets you know who is calling by displaying their name and/or telephone number on a special phone you may rent or buy from us. Call Name Display helps you to identify annoying or harassing calls and gives you peace of mind. Additionally, your phone number will appear to the person you are calling if they subscribe to Call Display and have a display phone.

BRUCE TELECOM subscribers may turn their Call Forwarding feature "on" or "off" from any touchtone telephone. It is not necessary to return to your home or office to forward your calls to another number or to turn your Call Forwarding feature "on" or "off".

Customers wishing not to receive calls during specific times may activate Do Not Disturb. This feature routes calls to a special "do not disturb" announcement and gives the customer the benefits of timesavings, privacy and security. Do Not Disturb takes precedence over call answer and messages will not be received by call answer.

This popular feature gives you a second phone number on your regular line. When calls are made to the second phone number, your phone will ring differently… usually two short rings as opposed to the regular, long ring when your primary, or regular phone number is called. There are many uses, which allow you to give your special calls the treatment they deserve. Ident-a-call keeps you from running to the phone if it is for someone else.

Call Return enables you to automatically reach busy numbers. Feature includes Automatic Redial and Automatic Callback. Automatic Redial is used to redial the last number dialed from your phone. Automatic Callback returns calls to the last number that called you, whether or not you answered the phone.

Selective Call Forwarding allows you to have "selected" incoming calls forwarded to a designated telephone number.

Call Screen allows you to enjoy the freedom from "unwanted" callers by blocking their number or by setting up a list of calling numbers that will be accepted.

Unidentified Call Rejection allows subscribers to reject calls from parties choosing not to identify their name or number. When the feature is activated the incoming calls with calling party number marked as private are routed to a denial announcement. Incoming calls with a calling party indicated as public and incoming calls without calling party number information remain unaffected.

Selective Distinctive Ring allows you to define a list of up to 12 calling directory numbers that will provide a special ring. Any incoming calls from numbers on this list will be indicated by a distinctive ringing pattern or a distinctive Call Waiting tone. Note that this feature will not recognize cellular numbers or numbers from other Independent telephone companies.

Increase the security and convenience of your telephone service. With Bruce Telecom's SAFETY LINE, your phone will automatically dial an emergency number for you.
Bruce Telecom will automatically program your service to call that one other telephone number whenever you lift the receiver and do not dial within 30 seconds or your telephone is off-hook for 30 seconds.

Call Trace allows you to initiate an automatic trace of the last incoming call you received. A successful trace receives a success message.

Call Answer is the convenient telephone answering service that takes messages even when you are on the phone. Once you have subscribed to Call Answer it is necessary to set up your personal mailbox. The first time you enter the mailbox the system provides a tutorial, instructing you to create your personal password, record your name and record your greeting, which should be done as soon as possible after your mailbox is activated. No one can leave messages until you do.

    Toll Denial with Pin allows the customer to block the placing of all outgoing toll calls with the exception of those calls made with a designated Pin. This gives limited access to toll calling.
