FINANCE MANAGER

BASIC FUNCTION

To effectively manage Bruce Telecom’s transactional accounting, purchasing, asset control, and financial reporting in order to ensure accuracy, maximize efficiency and minimize risk through application and adherence with Company fiscal and general policies and in full accordance with governing accounting principles. As an active member of the management group with Bruce Telecom this role is expected to drive continuous improvement and promote an ongoing environment of participative management strategies.
 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completion of recognized accounting designation (CGA, CMA or CA). Alternatively a candidate in the final stages of a program of professional studies and possessing an acceptable combination of professional experience and technical training may be considered.
• A minimum of five years of senior experience within a finance team environment including monthly closing process (financial statements, account reconciliations, audit binders), tests of internal controls, process documentation and facilitation of forecast/budget process.
• Public accounting experience considered an asset.
